The Seahawks Sports Association (SSA) is proud to announce the launch of Seahawks Youth Football & Seahawks Youth Cheer, created this year to better serve the athletes and families of Gig Harbor and the Key Peninsula.

Following the Seahawks’ decision to part ways with Peninsula Youth Football & Cheer (PYFC), SSA saw an opportunity to build a program with a renewed focus on development, alignment, and community connection. This new structure allows us to more intentionally and directly support our youth athletes—on and off the field—while strengthening the pathway from youth sports to high school competition.

Seahawks Youth Football & Cheer is now recognized by Peninsula High School Boosters as the feeder program for Peninsula High School athletics, preparing athletes with the skills, discipline, teamwork, and culture needed to confidently transition into Peninsula High School sports programs.

Our mission is simple: Develop strong athletes, confident leaders, and proud Seahawks—together.

We are excited for this next chapter and look forward to serving our community with integrity, purpose, and Seahawk pride.
